Thank you for visiting my site!! This is going to be a busy year for me and my publishing company "Songs in Cognito". Some of you may not know that when i came to Nashville in 1988, I (like everyone else here), wanted to be a songwriter. I was successful at doing that for about 6 years, until my playing career took off and my husband Roger Spencer and I opened the Nashville Jazz Workshop (www.nashvillejazz.org). But this is my year to dust off all the songs that i have written throughout my years and breathe new life into them. In 2008, i released my first solo piano cd of meditation songs called "The Dream of Life". These songs have touched many people's lives, so i decided to write a solo piano book of all the tunes on the CD. I am planning a release of this book by June 2010.
